Programs Overview
Learning English can change your life!
Did you know that our English as Second Language (ESL) program can help you reach your college and career goals? From basic to advanced, the Division of Adult and Career Education offers an ESL level for every English learner. In each level, ESL teachers use activities and projects to build your listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in a friendly, interactive environment. So, whether you are new to English, you are hoping to get a new job, or you are preparing for college, we are here for you. You can do it!

Yes, your children really do need you! (Just don’t tell them that.) When do children do best in school? When their parents are involved. Our Family Success Initiative (FSI) classes blend ESL and parent education, empowering parents of K-12 students to become meaningfully involved in their children’s education, at school and at home. While learning English, you will also learn proven techniques to help your children succeed in the classroom (online or traditional), and you will gain valuable knowledge towards becoming an active partner in your school community.

Opportunity is knocking. Open the Door!
For most of us, the career journey we take helps us define who we are and contributes to the legacy we leave behind. And while this journey may be filled with many crossroads and career changes, the skills we build along this road help us realize our potential and reach our professional goals.
Our Career Technical Education (CTE) program provides workforce training to younger and older adults alike. Whether looking to train for a new career, advance in a current one or obtain an industry recognized certification, our combination of core academics, hands-on training and employability skills will get you there. And with more than two dozen pathways across 15 industry sectors, we have something for everyone. |
