I don't think acacian I would just as really serving a very unique population and sort of educational gap between our K-12 services and higher education so we provide that bridge for adult students who are looking to either continue their studies and higher vacation all our programs are college preparatory and also prepare students with industry-recognized certification for direct employment Healthcare nursing energy utilities all kinds of opportunities in the community Willis ritual started we started working with a Homeboy Industries were giving him a chance to to cross-train at these guys going to be ready they're going to be able to work with plastic they're going to be able to run conduit wiring these are systems all of the all of the applications to place thank you hopefully we can retrieve a hundred more. Hopefully you're doing it you're doing our taxes are cosmetology was it the pasta house for a long. Of time you're on your way can I ask you a couple questions only to the why this program and why the school a lot of us will that continue does everybody know that yeah that's amazing best of luck to all of you my elbow hurts what should I do many ways is our second chance program I think you and I would agree that they need to be first camp programs adult education is and I hate this phrase the best kept secret in the district and I don't want it to be a kept secret part of our 100 I'll actually got focused on a dramatic expansion of these programs adult that programs Career Technical programs we also have a great partnership emerging and being strengthened with our Early Education Childhood partners to create a pathway for Early Education AIDS while parents are in the program at West Valley Occupational Center so we would love to scale up more of those opportunities so I was at a Early Education Center this morning and I think there was a lot of Simba since between these two it seems to me that what is being done here could be a solution for our own struggles in terms of attracting incentivizing retaining the work force that we need we have the ability to customize program and tailor them directly to the needs of employers so I think we we started doing that at a deeper level that much more work to be done as soon as I met today who are viable employee today I think that's actually the best thing we can do for our community amazing School amazing programs on a ray of opportunity the likes of which I really have not seen in La since I've arrived here
